Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools set me up for success. I’m a product of CMS. I went to Briarwood Elementary, Cochrane Middle School and West Charlotte High School graduating in 1992.

I then went on to college and grad school because of my foundation in CMS — a foundation to be a lifelong learner. I love to learn; I love to research and to be physically active. And I want my students to value that as well.

I am home at CMS now as an educator - a physical educator - to lead the next generation to be healthy and active learners.
